Chicken Stuffed Portobellos

Ingredients

10 large Portobello mushrooms

500 g Ground chicken

½ cup Breadcrumbs

1 Egg

¼ cup Milk

¼ cup Olive oil

1 cup Shredded cheese

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Dried basil

½ tsp Dried thyme

½ tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Onion powder

1 tsp Ground pepper

Chicken Stuffed Portobellos

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground chicken, ½ cup cheese, milk, olive oil, breadcrumbs, egg, and all the seasonings. Knead until everything is well incorporated. Set aside. 
  2. Remove the stems from the portobellos and place them hollow side down on a baking sheet. 
  3. Bake the portobellos for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 200˚C / 350˚F. After 10 minutes, remove the portobellos from the oven and turn the portobellos over so the hollow side is facing up. 
  4. Spread the remaining ½ cup of cheese over the portobellos and then distribute the ground chicken mixture over them. 
  5. Place the portobellos back in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until they are tender.
