Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 230°C.
  2. Prepare the mushrooms by slicing them in half. Use a straw to poke eyeholes into the tops of the mushroom halves. With a skewer, create nostrils and vertical lines on the stalk to represent the skeleton's teeth.
  3. For the spiders, prepare the olives by cutting one in half for the body and slicing another into small pieces for the legs.
  4. Now, make the dough: In a bowl, combine self-raising flour and Greek yogurt. Mix until the texture becomes crumbly. Knead the dough with your hands for a few minutes until it’s smooth and forms into a ball.
  5. Sprinkle some flour on the bench and roll the dough out to your preferred thickness. Use a cookie cutter (or any round object) to cut small circles from the dough, then place them on a baking tray.
  6. Spread pizza sauce on each mini pizza and sprinkle some cheese on top. Place a mushroom skeleton on each pizza and use the olive pieces to create a spider.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 8-10 minutes at 230°C, and you’ll have the perfect Halloween bites! Enjoy these spooky, delicious snacks!
