Sautéed Asparagus and Mushrooms

Ingredients

200 g Swiss brown Mercer Mushrooms 

2 Bunches asparagus

2 Garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp Vegetable oil 

½ tsp Salt

¼ tsp Black pepper

Sautéed Asparagus and Mushrooms

Method

  1. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a clean cloth, then slice them. Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus and cut the spears in half. Mince the garlic so it’s ready to use. 
  2. Heat a drizzle of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about a minute, until fragrant. Then, add the mushrooms and asparagus, stirring occasionally as they cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until the mushrooms are golden and the asparagus is tender. 
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve warm. Enjoy your meal!
